Menova MFG ("we", "us") provides precision manufacturing services (CNC machining, sheet metal, vacuum casting and Swiss-lathe turning). This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and your rights over it. It is written with the EU/UK GDPR and similar frameworks in mind, as many of our customers are based in Europe and North America.

1. What we collect

• Quote-request details you submit through our contact form: name, company, work email, phone, the service you need, quantity, material/finish notes and your project message.
• CAD files and drawings you upload (e.g. STEP, IGES, DWG, PDF). These are treated as confidential technical information.
• Technical data captured with each submission for anti-spam and security purposes: your IP address and browser user-agent string.

2. Why we use it

• To prepare and send you a quotation and manufacturing (DfM) feedback.
• To communicate with you about your enquiry and any resulting order.
• To prevent spam and abuse of the form (IP/user-agent, rate limiting).

Our legal basis is your consent (given when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and securing our systems.

3. Your CAD files & confidentiality

Uploaded CAD files are stored outside the public web directory and are accessible only to authorised Menova MFG staff through an authenticated admin area. We do not share them with third parties except sub-processors strictly necessary to quote or produce your parts, and we treat them as confidential under NDA on request.

4. How long we keep it

We retain quote requests and their attachments for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and to meet legal/accounting obligations. You may ask us to delete them sooner (see Section 7). [Confirm your intended retention period with counsel.]

5. Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your data. It may be processed by service providers that help us run the site and business (e.g. our hosting provider, and Google Fonts which serves web fonts). Where these are outside your region, appropriate safeguards apply.

6. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Admin access is authenticated and CAD attachments are not publicly reachable. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email sales@menovamfg.com.

8. Cookies

The public marketing pages do not set tracking cookies. A single session cookie is used only within the staff admin area for login. [Update this section if you later add analytics or marketing cookies.]
